This element is characterized by 16-bp terminal inverted repeats and TA target site duplications. DNA16TA1_DR and DNA15TA1_DR share identical 9-bp termini. There are several hundred copies of DNA16TA1_DR in the zebrafish genome; they are ~91% identical with the consensus sequence. Classification based on terminal similarity to EnSpm-12_DR.
