GYPSY3I_DR is an internal portion of the GYPSY3_DR LTR retrotransposon. GYPSY3_DR was active recently, it is flanked by 99% identical GYPSY3LTR_DR. The gag and pol proteins are encoded by ORF1 and ORF2, which are slightly damaged by two false frame shifts.
