Harbinger2N_DR (DF0002714)
Non-autonomous Harbinger DNA transposon from zebrafish
Description
A brief description of the entry. Suggestions for modification to this description can be submitted using the adjacent pencil icon.
HARBINGER2N_DR copies are flanked by 3-bp target site duplications (usually CWG) generated upon their integration in the genome. It has perfect 13-bp terminal inverted repeats similar to other HARBINGERs. There are approximately 100 copies of HARBINGER2N_DR harbored by the zebrafish genome. The consensus sequence was reconstructed based on 25 copies which are ~0.6% divergent from the consensus sequence. HARBUNGER2N_DR elements were derived from the autonomous HARBINGER2_DR transposon.

Hit Statistics
Number of matches to this model that meet the "Gathering" threshold and more stringent "Trusted" threshold. For each threshold, two numbers are shown: (1) the number of matches to this model after removing redundant hits to other models ("non-redundant"), and (2) the total number of matches above threshold, including those with better scoring matches to other models ("all hits").
The model is 1018 positions long. The average length of non-redundant hits to the model is 676.1. This table shows the number of hits above score thresholds:
Species | Gathering | Trusted | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
non-redundant | all hits | non-redundant | all hits | |
Danio rerio | 31 | 275 | 30 | 248 |
