PROTOP_A (DF0001685)

Nonautonomous form of PROTOP DNA transposon.

Nonautonomous DNA transposon derived from autonomous P-like transposon PROTOP (proto-P). PROTOP_A has perfect 30 bp-long TIRs and it generates 7 bp-long duplications of target sites upon its integration in the genome.
