ZAM_I is an internal portion of the ZAM retrovirus.

Description

ZAM_I uses PBS related to the tRNA Ser. ZAM_I encodes gag, pol, and env. It has been reported [1] that the env is encoded by mRNA that starts at LTR and includes two exons. The first exon is 203 bp-long and it starts at position 329; its coding 3'-region is 38 bp-long.
