ZAM_I uses PBS related to the tRNA Ser. ZAM_I encodes gag, pol, and env. It has been reported  that the env is encoded by mRNA that starts at LTR and includes two exons. The first exon is 203 bp-long and it starts at position 329; its coding 3'-region is 38 bp-long.
