TIR54TA1_CE is a putative non-autonomous DNA transposon; it has almost perfect 54 bp-long terminal inverted repeats and generates duplication of TA target site upon its integration in the genome. Multiple transpositions of TIR54TA1_CE were likely induced by Mariner/Tc-like transposase.
