PAL5A_CE is a putative non-autonomous DNA transposon; it forms almost perfect 396 bp-long palindrome and generates duplication of 5 bp-long target site upon its integration in the genome. PAL5A_CE can be still mobile since some of its individual copies are more than 98% identical with the consensus sequence.
