MLT2F is an ERVL LTR. However, a related LTR was "absorbed" by a mobile Ricksha DNA transposon; explaining this cross-Type homology. A segment of of MLT2F (position ~177-366) shows roughly 80% identity to the coding portion of apoprotein exon 3 (APO IV).
