Description

MER70-int is an internal portion of the HERVL70 endogenous retrovirus flanked by the long terminal repeats MER70A and MER70B. Note that MER stands for MEdium Reiteration frequency interspersed repeat. As such, MERs as a group are a grab bag of DNA transposons and retrotransposons.
