MER3 (DF0000743)

hAT-Charlie DNA transposon, MER3 subfamily (non-autonomous)

Description

Has 15 bp TIRs; 8 bp TSDs. Note that MER stands for MEdium Reiteration frequency interspersed repeat. As such, MERs as a group are a grab bag of DNA transposons and retrotransposons.
