TcMar-Tigger DNA transposon, MER2 subfamily (non-autonomous)


24 bp TIRs. TSD: TA. Originally identified in the opposite orientation. Note that MER stands for MEdium Reiteration frequency interspersed repeat. As such, MERs as a group are a grab bag of DNA transposons and retrotransposons.
