TcMar-Tigger DNA transposon, Tigger3a subfamily
A brief description of the entry. Suggestions for modification to this description can be submitted using the adjacent pencil icon.
Modified from its former identity as GOLEM_A (two indels, a few bp substitutions). Differences from Tigger3 (formerly GOLEM) and Tigger3b (formerly GOLEM_B) also include internal deletions. 23 bp TIR; TA target site. Tigger3a was originally a subset of MER7A, but the orientation was reversed based on the reconstruction of Tigger3 (or GOLEM) internal sequence.
Two human repetitive DNA elements: a new interspersed repeat found in the factor IX gene, and a satellite 11 tandem repeat sequence.

|Class||Cut and Paste|
Number of matches to this model that meet the "Gathering" threshold and more stringent "Trusted" threshold. For each threshold, two numbers are shown: (1) the number of matches to this model after removing redundant hits to other models ("non-redundant"), and (2) the total number of matches above threshold, including those with better scoring matches to other models ("all hits").
The model is 348 positions long. The average length of non-redundant hits to the model is 304. This table shows the number of hits above score thresholds:
|non-redundant||all hits||non-redundant||all hits|
